Hi friend,
I have something exciting to announce today!
As you might have noticed, I’ve been pretty obsessed lately with the unique and specific impact of being a highly sensitive person (HSP), on everything from body image and self-worth to unique emotional needs and relationship dynamics.
The reason for this is twofold:
The first is that my own life dramatically changed for the better when I fully understood and embraced my innate sensitivity, so I’m passionate about shining a light on this frequently misunderstood trait.
The second is that I’ve been noticing for years how many of my clients, readers, and followers struggle with being highly sensitive, and experience it as a weakness rather than a strength. They tend to have internalized the social stigma around it, which cruises them to compare themselves to others and invalidate their own experiences, and then they end up chronically overwhelmed, overstimulated, and dysregulated… which leads to them building a narrative around themselves in which they must be weak, stupid, undisciplined, unlovable, unworthy, mean, bad, or broken. I’ve also learned quite a lot about the specific concepts, strategies, and tools that help sensitive folks push back against shame and comparison and really thrive– and I want to make this information accessible to all my fellow HSPs!
For these reasons, I’ve decided to launch a brand new self-study course called Highly Sensitive & Thriving!

Highly Sensitive & Thriving is designed to help sensitive folks learn to push back against the shame and stigma of being "too sensitive" or "too emotional," stop feeling so overwhelmed all the damn time, and learn to accept and even embrace their innate sensitivity!
Just like I did for my 2024 self-study course Fuck The Patriarchy, I’ve decided to launch this program on Patreon, publishing a brand new module of course material each month for all patrons at the $25/month level and higher.
That means if you want access to this exclusive material, all you have to do is enroll in my patreon now, because I’ll be dropping the first module of course material February 1st!
Wanna learn more about the syllabus and course material? Here’s the breakdown!
Highly Sensitive & Thriving Course Syllabus
February: There Is Nothing Wrong With You Stop comparing yourself to others, reject shame/stigma, and recognize that HSP can be a superpower/strength when harnessed and protected properly!
March: Understanding Overwhelm, and Identifying Your “Overwhelm Triggers” Identify the specific and unique sensation of “overwhelm” in your body, reconceptualize this sensation as a message with a purpose, and understand the consequences of respecting or ignoring this message.
April: Protecting Your Peace Learn how to identify your specific and unique “overwhelm triggers,” and work backward to implement preventive, structural boundaries in your life that help you avoid hitting that point as often.
May: Increasing Your “Window of Tolerance”Slowly increase your resilience, and learn to safely tolerate, metabolize, and navigate overwhelm when it happens.
June: Skills That Help You Thrive Explore and improve the specific skills that will help you thrive on this journey, like connection to self, emotional granularity, self-validation, honest communication, and boundary-setting.
July: Embracing Your Superpower Develop a more positive relationship with your innate sensitivity by embracing and prioritizing the ways in which it can be a strength, superpower, or positive trait!
For what it’s worth, you’re more than welcome to dip in and out of the course each month, depending on whether that particular module appeals to you, and I’ll do my best to make sure each module stands on its own as a sort of mini-workshop on the topic, with a webinar and worksheets.
That said, the course is designed to expand and build upon itself, so I would highly encourage you to join for the whole shebang!

Plus, if you happen to be interested in more personalized one-on-one support around thriving as an HSP (or on body neutrality), I still have a few spots available in my upcoming small coaching groups (one on each topic) but we’re starting next week so this is your last call– go ahead and fill out a coaching application here, today or tomorrow to apply!
Big hug,
Jessi
